Cookie Policy

This policy describes the cookies and similar technologies VaultEX uses and how to control them.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. Similar technologies include localStorage, sessionStorage, and IndexedDB. They let us keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and measure how the product is used.

2. Strictly necessary

  • _barong_session — authentication session, HttpOnly + Secure + SameSite=Strict.
  • vaultex.csrf — CSRF token echoed on mutating API calls.
  • vaultex.theme, vaultex.dir — remember your selected theme and text direction.

3. Performance and reliability

We may use short-lived cookies and local keys to debug trading-engine latency, detect client errors, and throttle abusive behaviour. These cookies contain no direct identifiers.

4. Third parties

VaultEX only sets cookies required for the Platform to function. We do not sell cookies, and we do not use advertising trackers. Security vendors may set tokens during anti-bot challenges; those tokens are cleared immediately after verification.

5. Your choices

You can clear cookies through your browser settings at any time. Disabling strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in or placing orders.
