Reading the orderbook
Bids, asks, depth, spread — what each column is telling you.
The orderbook is a live snapshot of every resting limit order. Green (bids) are buyers waiting below the market; red (asks) are sellers waiting above. The gap in the middle is the spread — tighter spreads mean more liquidity.
Tips
- Click any price level to instantly fill it into the order form.
- The depth bars show cumulative size — darker = more weight behind that level.
- A sudden lopsided book (bids >> asks or vice versa) often precedes price movement.
